Creflo Dollar is an American televangelist, pastor, and the founder of the non-denominational World Changers Church International (WCCI)  based in College Park, Georgia. The dollar also heads the Arrow Records.

Creflo Dollar was born on January 28, 1962, in college Park, Georgia, United States of America, to a police officer, Creflo Augustus Dollar, Sr. and Mrs. Dollar.

Creflo Dollar Education

He attended the Baptist Church School when he was a child, and in 1984 got graduated from the West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in education. After this, he decided to start his own business and began developing the World Changers Ministries Christian Center.

 Creflo Dollar received a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s and a doctorate in counseling. In 1998 he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Oral Roberts University. He was the publisher of CHANGE online magazine and The Max, a bimonthly resource newsletter for ministers and ministry leaders. His award-winning “Changing Your World” television broadcast reaches to almost one billion people.

Creflo Dollar Career

In 1986, Creflo Dollar started the World Changers Ministries Christian Center. Dollar led his first church’s worship service in the cafeteria of Kathleen Mitchell Elementary School in College Park, which was attended by eight people only. The ministry proliferated over the years and was later renamed World Changers Church International. His assemblage moved from the cafeteria to a modest-sized chapel, which then added a weekly radio broadcast and four services. On December 24, 1995, WCCI moved into its current location—the 8,500-seat sanctuary known as the World Dome, which cost nearly $18 million. The World Dome was built without any support from the banks.
