Lynette Aryeh Nusbacher was born as Aryeh Judah Schoen Nusbacher on December 17, 1966, in New York City with male physical features. The now 53-year-old Nusbacher went through gender reassignment surgery in 2007. Since then she’s known by the name Lynette Nusbacher.

Later, she joined the Canadian Armed forces as a logistics officer in 1992 where she worked for 7 years, making the financial planning and audit for an infantry battalion. In 2000, she toiled as a division staff officer. In the year 2006, she joined the LMC consultant as a principal senior consultant, where she made a huge contribution to war studies and operational research until 2017. Then from 2006 to 2012, she worked as a visiting lecturer at the University of Reading. Also, rumors are that she made the gender change decision during this period.
