David Paul Jeremiah, the founder and presenter of Turning Point for God was born in Toledo, Ohio, on Feb 13, 1941. He has been one of James and Ruby Jeremiah’s four sons His parents relocated to Dayton, Ohio when he was a teenager, where his dad, James T. Jeremiah, was the preacher of Emmanuel Baptist Church. When his dad was named President of Cedarville College, which used to be Cedarville University, the Jeremiah family relocated to Cedarville, Ohio, in 1953.

Jeremiah graduated from Cedarville University in 1963 with a bachelor’s and Dallas Theological Seminary with a postgraduate program (1967).
