Maria Bakalova is famous for her role as Tutar Sandiyev in the 2020 film called “Borat” Subsequent Movie film. According to IMDBs, Maria was trained as a flutist and singer since she was a child and later she studied at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia.
The Bulgarian dramas and comedies “The Father”, “Transgression” and “Last Call” are her handful of professional credits. The actress has not yet shared any details about her parents and she rarely uses social media platforms.

She was a student at the National School of Arts in Burgas, majoring in acting for drama theatre. Maria did her second major in flute. Later, she continued her studies at the National Academy for Theatre & Film Arts in Sofia and she was successfully graduated in 2019.

Maria posted an IG video/clip that showed the words “Black Lives Matter” over and over again on Instagram on May 31, 2020. She also showed her participation in #BlackOutTuesday on June 2, 2020, by posting a back square to her own Instagram feed.
Though Maria Bakalova has appeared in a few Bulgarian films, she has been virtually unknown to American audiences until now. But this doesn’t stop her, she more than makes up for it with the sheer force of will.
