Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Imani Hakim, by the age of 7 she was very much passionate about acting. Soon after, she started to gain education from the very famous and historic Cleveland Ohio’s Karamu House Theatre. There she played in many roles of its stage productions. Sound the year 2005, she hosted her first-ever television role as one of the lead actresses in the very popular TV show “Everybody hates Chris”. Followed by that she made several guest appearances like “ER” , “CSI”, “States of Affairs”, “The Replacement” and so on.
