 In Illinois, he attended his grade school and completed his higher studies in Staunton Military Academy and the Undergraduate course at Colgate University. Then he transferred to College of Wooster in Ohio, where he obtained his B.A. in 1961. In 1965, he received “Juris Doctor” from Georgetown University Law Center. After graduation, he went to Washington, D.C, and joined Welch & Morgan, a law firm.

John Dean Career

From 1966 to1967, he was recruited as the chief minority advisor at ‘United States House Committee on the Judiciary’. After two years, he was employed as associate director of the National Commission. On March 23, 1973, he hires as an attorney and continues to work as Nixon’s White House Counsel. As per the order of the president, he started to collect evidence about the scandal, but he couldn’t complete the report, so on April 30, 1973, he gets fired by Nixon. Then he gets arrested for Watergate Scandal and spends his 2 years in prison. After he became a book writer and part-time investment banker.
