Lakshmi Manchu was born on 08 October 1977 in Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Lakshmi Manchu is an Indian film actress. Other than acting, she is an eminent maker and a TV craftsman. She is widely recognised in the Telugu film industry. She completed her education from Oklahoma City University in a Bachelor’s degree in Theater. She is the child of Mohan Babu and Vidya Devi. She has brothers named, Vishnu and Manoj Manchu.

She began her vocation at four years old. She has completed 20 movies so far in India and the U.S. She also owns a production company named, Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and it has produced 56 films.

She gave her audition and got signed for a movie, Kadal in 2011. She played the role of a poor village woman named, Celina in the film. Las Vegas was her television series debut. She essayed the role of Sarasvati Kumar opposite James Lesure. Apart from this she also did series titled, late heights with my lover, Mystery ER, and desperate homemakers. Other than this, she has done ads too for Chevrolet, Toyota, and AARP. A film named Perfect carries on with was coordinated and created by her. She also acted in the movie. In 2016, she made her performance centre introduction as Miss Trunchbull, which was directed by Taher Ali Baig. She has awarded with two awards and the state Nandi award.
