Lois Cleveland Chiles or shortly known as Lois Chiles is an actress from America and a former fashion model. She is popularly known to us for her roles as Dr Holly Goodhead in the James Bond film Moonraker, in 1979 and as a hit and run driver in 1987’s popular film Creepshow 2. She has also worked in the films like The Great Gatsby, The Way We Were, Death on the Nile and Broadcast News.

Lois Cleveland Chiles was born on 15th April 1947 in Houston, Texas, US. Currently, she is of 72 years of age and is inactive in her career. She is the daughter of Marion Clay Chiles and Barbara Wayne Kirkland Chiles. Her paternal uncle was the oil tycoon and the owner of Texas Rangers Eddie Chiles.

Lois has two brothers also named Clay Kirkland who died in 1979 and William Edmonds who is currently the President and CEO of Bristow Group, Inc.

Lois Chiles studied at the University of Texas at Austin where she got a chance to get featured as a cover model of the magazine’s annual college issue. After landing into the job, she soon had contracts with Wilhelmina Models in New York and Elite Models in Paris. Later she went on to study acting under Roy London.

Before getting into Lois Chiles’ married life lets discuss her personal life from the beginning. Lois at first dated Don Henley but the relationship didn’t work well and they ended it. After that, in the year 2005, she married the money manager Richard Glider.

Currently, both of them are the co-chairs of Northfield Mount Herman, a school in Massachusetts. Richard Glider donated money to the school and currently the school is known as Chiles’ Theatre after her.
