Payal Ghosh was born on 13 November 1989 in Kolkata in the state of West Bengal, India, born and raised in Kolkata. She finished her school level studies from St Paul’s Mission School, Kolkata. For graduation, she selected at the Scottish Church College in Kolkata and got her advanced education in Political Science from that point.

Her acting profession, however, began much before her graduation in Kolkata when she was spotted by Tom Clegg to assume a part in an acclaimed British TV film named Sharpe’s Peril in 2008.

She was only 17 at that point. After her folks were against her choice to join the entertainment world and hence, she fled from her home in Kolkata and came to Mumbai and enlisted at the Namit Kishore’s Acting School to pick up acting.

Her undeniable profession begun after Chandra Sekhar Yeleti offered her a lead part in his well known Telugu film named Prayanam. She was projected close by veteran Telugu entertainer Manoj Manchu in this film.

After doing two or three all the more South Indian language films, she, at last, made her Bollywood film debut with the film called Freedom in 2014. She has recently seen in Sanjay Chhel’s comedy Hindi film titled Patel Ki Punjabi Shadi which released in September 2017.
