An Indian web-based entrepreneur, Rahul Yadav who co-founded and served as the former CEO of Mumbai- based real estate search portal Housing.com. The research from Forbes India, Housing.com sold eight million dollars worth of real estate in its first week. In 2014, Yadav was listed among the Forbes India “30 Under 30” young entrepreneurs, for his work at Housing.com.  He is sometimes known as the ‘bad boy of Indian startups.’ His expulsion as CEO by Housing.com directorate pulled in extensive media attention. In the year 2015, Yadav was in negotiations with Paytm for funds for the new venture. Intelligent Interfaces, Yadav’s latest venture would help organizations and associations in automating forms.

Rahul Yadav Early Life

Born in 1989, in Alwar, Rahul Yadav was born to a middle-class family. He attended the IIT Bombay in 2007, studying metallurgy. With his studies, he served as the delegate and secretary for the university’s student association. His excellence led him to found ‘Exambaba.com’ , an online question bank of old exam papers. He left the college in his final year as they requested Yadav to shut down the website. Almost three years back, a group of 12 students came down to Mumbai for studies but found it literally impossible to find their accommodation but failed. After searching they found a house in Powai. They become brokers and made INR 1-2 lacs a month within a short period of time. A well-planned map-based portal Housing.com was opened for public on June 2012.

Housing.com was founded as Housing.co.in in the year 2012. The saying of Rahul Yadav states that he started up Housing.com in response to a severe housing shortage in India. By the year 2015, under Yadav’s leadership, Housing.com had three offices in Powai. This includes searching of a rental house, verified purchase of apartments, buildings, and even land in villages and rural areas and ‘Slice View’ which allows customers to take a virtual tour of chosen properties of big real estate companies.Housing.com was named one of the hottest tech startups in 2012. Softbank was its funding partners. According to Forbes India, Housing.com sold eight million dollars worth of real estate in its first week.

Intelligent Interfaces:

In September 2015, Yadav introduced a new venture ‘ Intelligent Interfaces’. The company had investors from the co-founder of Flipkart, Paytm, YouWeCan and Micromax. It is a reportedly a data analytics company and visualization company catering to e-commerce companies.
