Reena Thakur was conceived to a Rajput family in 1983 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. His father is a retired bank agent. She has a brother and a sister. Not much about their brother, but his sister’s name is Babita Verma, living in marital life. Her mother is a traditional housewife.

She got her initial training from Government Senior optional school, Darlaghat, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India, and earned her graduation from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. After completing her graduation in 1998, she started work as a private school teacher, Shimla.
