Swami Chinmayanand is an Indian Politician and Religion Personality who best know as a founder of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. he is also best to know as a former Union Minister under third Vajpayee Ministry.

Chinmayanand was elected to 13th Lok Sabha from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh in 1999. He was also elected to 10th Lok Sabha from Badaun in 1991.

Currently, Former Union minister Swami Chinmayanand, accused of rape by a law student, was arrested the special investigation team (SIT) of Uttar Pradesh police.

Swami Chinmayanand Early Life, Date of Birth, Parents and More

He was born on 3 March 1947, in village Tyorasi Ramaipur in Praspur tehsil of Gonda district, India as a Krishna Pal Singh. There is no information about his parents but who is belong a royal lineage in Gonda, now a central UP district.

He has three brothers named Ram Kripal Singh, Ram Bahwan Singh and Tungnath Singh, still live in his native village Tyorasi Ramaipur in Praspur tehsil of Gonda district and They all are into farming.

Swami Chinmayanand had left home at the age of 20. After spending years incognito, he, in 1971, went to Parmarth Ashram in Rishikesh where he was named as Swami Chinmayanand.

As per sources, Chinmayanand has completed a course in polytechnic from Mankapur Polytechnic College and MA from Lucknow University. He also completed a doctorate. He is the Editor of two monthly magazines, Pramarath, and Vivek Rashmi.
