Smriti Irani Gives upcoming movie ‘ Thappad ‘ to Taapsee Pannu’s Biggest Shout-Out

Just a few days ago, released ‘Thappad’ movie trailer released, which is starring by fabulous actor Tapsee Pannu. The actor comes up again with the serious issue of our society. Before this movie Pannu has given us sensible and sensitive topic movies to tell about women’s rights and women’s dignity like Pink, Badla, Name Shabana.

‘Thappad’ movie trailer also teaches us many lessons. First, the real truth of the society, secondly how women’s approach for handling domestic violence, And lastly the Taapsee Pannu performance.

Domestic violence is a really basic thing in India. For end relationship, it is not a considerable good enough reason. Actually, it’s totally women’s fault. They are tolerating this violence themselves as the name of love.

That’s the reason when the “Thappad” trailer released its gives recognition. In the trailer can make a shiver run down your spine with its story and an incredible performance by Tapsee Pannu.

‘Thappad’ movie which is directed by Anubhav Sinha and Producers by Anubhav Sinha, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar. Shown journey by a woman, which role performed by Taapsee Pannu who fights for justice after her husband slaps her in front of so many people.

From critics to audiences, While all people are praises the film trailer, the Union Minister Smriti Irani has the most significant shoutout.

On Sunday, Srimati Smriti Irani took her Instagram platform to share her opinion about the trailer. She wrote a heart-touching post to explain how she will watch the film regardless of the fact that she has “different political ideologies” to that of the film director and actor.

Smriti Irani wrote:

How many have heard “aurat ko hi adjust Karna padta hai“ How many think “ki maar pitai sirf gareeb auraton ke hi pati karte hai” How many tell their girls their daughter in laws“ koi baat nahi beta aisa to humare saath bhi hua lekin dekho aaj kitne khush hai“

I might not support the political ideology of the director or may disagree with some actors on some issues but this is a story that I will definitely watch and hope people watch it with their families. It’s not ok to hit a woman … not even a slap … not even JUST one slap”

In that Thappad movie besides Taapsee Pannu, the movie has also co-stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Pavail Gulati, Kumud Mishra, Tanvi Azmi, and Manav Kaul.

Taapsee Pannu as Amrita [the main lead of the film] Pavail Gulati as Amrita’s husband.
