Uddhav Thackeray was conceived on 27 July 1960 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He finished his optional school education(SSC) from Balmohan Vidya Mandir, Mumbai. His advantage was in human expressions and photography. He joined Sir J.J. Schools of Arts, Mumbai and finished his graduation.
