Who is Samantha Lewes? Samantha Lewes was born on 29th November 1952 in San Diego. She is a resident of California, USA. Initially, she was known as Susan Jane Dillingham. She is an American star and is popular by her stage name Samantha Lewes. She had a specialization in the theatre but she had also appeared twice on the big screen and has also done acting beside Tom Hanks.

There are not many happenings in the life of Samantha as it is the case with other American Actors. Though she was not a screen star, she was being featured in a lot of movies along with Tom Hanks.

In 1978, a TV series named Grange Hill used to air and Samantha used to work in that series. That was most probably the first show she starred in. Samantha and Tom met at a university where they both used to study together. Samantha used to like Tom and his different approach towards life. He used to study at the Faculty of Dramatic Art and used to play in the Spectacle “The Cherry Orchard”. Later Samantha convinced Tom to move to London so that he can showcase his talent at a place that is full of opportunities.

Tom agreed to Samantha and they both started living together after leaving university. After having children, responsibilities on Tom Hanks increased and at that time he was not so famous so he decides to back off from the role he is currently playing in the family.
